Prior to the 1950's, teenagers were seen, not heard. New styles and music changed this. Teens now had a style to call their own, music to dance to, cars to drive, and trouble to make, much like the teenagers of today.
THe 1950's...Teenagers began to experiment with the freedoms of young adulthood. Rock concerts, music, cars, and all the things you think of when you watch "American Graffiti."

Today...Taking after the teenage culture of the fifties, teenagers today also enjoy the new freedom of growing up (Sometimes a little too much) love music, and style. And we can't forget the added convenience and distractions of technology!
